This place looks so good! I stumbled upon it ages ago in a trash mag and just decided to look it up since my mum is off to South Africa at the end of the year and I thought it might be fun if I book a night here for her without her knowing... anyway back to the point, its a place called the Grand Daddy Hotel and you can either stay in the hotel or stay on the roof... in a caravan... All the caravans are themed and have been created by different artists. It's such a good idea i wish we had cool shit like this here. Anyway here are some snaps off the website:
Today i got my ƒirst digital slr. I'm still working out everything on it because i have no idea what im doing but here are a couple snaps...
I've been kind oƒ wanting a digital ƒor a while now. I think i will still mainly use my ƒilm cameras because I like not knowing whats going to come out on a roll oƒ ƒilm. But this camera will be good ƒor capturing day to day things. Anyway i'm going to start posting daily photos both ƒilm and digital.. That is all.
Yesterday I got back my last roll of film from Japan. I thought the film wouldn't come out which is why it took me so long to get it developed. I was trying to prolong the disappointment of them telling me nothing was on the roll. But thankfully they turned out..
I'm still trying to work out how one country can be so amazingly good! I can't wait to go back to Japan and explore it more. This time since we were there ƒor longer we ƒound alot oƒ awesome little bars (which is where most oƒ my ƒilm was used) here are a ƒew oƒ my ƒavourites ƒrom the trip...
I think the last one is my ƒavourite. That guy was the owner oƒ a little bar we went to, he had an massive love oƒ music and an even bigger record and cd collection.
I haven't even leƒt ƒor Japan yet and I already don't want to come home... I hope the next 10 days go really ƒast and that the 14 days aƒter that go realllllyyyyyyy sllllooooowwwwww. p.s my ƒ key is permanently in italics ƒrom now on
There is a pleasure in the pathless woods, There is a rapture on the lonely shore, There is society, where none intrudes, By the deep sea, and music in its roar: I love not man the less, but Nature more
